FAQs

Embossing and debossing are printing techniques that use heat and pressure to stamp a design into your label material, creating a tactile and visually appealing effect. Embossing creates a raised design, whereas debossing produces a depressed design. Both techniques are typically used on paper and wine-grade paper label materials, and require custom plates.

Hot stamping is a premium printing technique that involves applying a metallic or pigmented foil to a surface using heat and pressure. Hot stamping is commonly used to highlight logos, text, and intricate designs, making them stand out with a shimmering effect. We offer over 30 different hot stamp options, ranging from bright silver and dull gold to unique colors like rose gold and metallic purple.

We offer a wide range of specialty materials and facestocks, paired with a variety of adhesives and liners. Our specialty materials include:

  • Papers
  • Clear, white, and metalized BOPP materials
  • Wine, specialty, and textured label materials
  • Hot stamp specialty materials

These specialty materials are available with permanent, removable and recyclable adhesives, and PET or paper liners.

We provide the widest design possibilities through differentiated press capabilities and printing techniques. Our complex decoration portfolio will bring your label to life:

  • Embossing and debossing
  • Hot stamp and cold foils, including holographic and colored foils
  • Tactile screens and high build
  • Spot gloss, matte, and soft-touch matte varnishes
  • Glitter varnishes
  • Glow-in-the-dark inks
  • Unique die cuts
  • Double-sided printing
  • Sandwich printing

These can be achieved through traditional flexo stations or off-line digital printing. We can even print some embellishments variably.

Yes! We can either send you a digital proof (email) of your labels or a press proof printed on the material of your choice.

In the print industry, copies refer to the number of (artwork) versions of a specific size label. For example, you may need 4,000 labels total, broken up into four SKUs, or 1,000 each. We can do that for you!

Sometimes customers refer to the total number of labels of one design they want to order as copies, too. Normally, our minimum order size is around 250 labels, and we can print as many labels as you need with no maximum. That said, we are able to create prototype-sized orders of as little as five labels.
